I got off my butt and finally started my couch to 5/10K program on Saturday! I ran/walked for half an hour on Saturday and half an hour on Sunday. Apart from a week back in November when we joined a gym (oops), I haven't worked out since before getting pregnant. I feel so accomplished!
I don't have a local workout partner and being accountable to someone else has been great workout motivation in the past. So...do you need a virtual workout partner? I'm thinking of doing a 4th of July 5K and hopefully an end-of-summer 10K. I may at some point have a time goal but right now the goal is just to run the whole distance and not need walking breaks.
I just started trying C25K too, so I'd love to, but I'm still trying to work in a whole 30 minute workout. I admit, I'm kind of afraid to be accountable to someone.
I need some motivation as well. I signed up to do a 8 mile( maybe its 5? I don't remember) charity bike ride at the end of June. I'm starting to think I should do some more preparation other than walking everyday.
