Have you ever stolen something of someone's? Not like from the store, but a specific person's possession? The food theft thing confuses the hell out of me, because I just don't understand taking things that don't belong to you.
I stole someone's giga pet (anyone remember those things?) when I was a kid she ended up being my best friend throughout high school but I never confessed. I can't recall why i did it but regardless, I've always regretted it. Also I stole a small rubber chicken from a teacher in middle school on a dare and then got scarred and flushed it!

This poll comes at a funny time bc my H just accidentally stole a bottle of wine! He was on the phone with me and just walked out of the store without even thinking. He wants to go back and pay but it's like 10 blocks away and we are feeling kind of lazy. Terrible!!

That's why I put SS, honestly. I almost put a "Yes, but it was an accident" option, but I figured that fell under SS.

He went back . The wine guy gave us 15% off because of honesty!

Hah, I've accidentally stolen a few things from CVS this year. I put stuff in the stroller basket and sometimes miss something at checkout. I feel bad, but I usually don't realize it until I'm back in the apartment and I can't get Audrey all strapped in and go back down to check out a $1 candy bar. Ya know?
My sister left her car charger in my car, and I didn't tell because I needed it. To be fair, she never asked me if I knew where it was. Does that count?

I mostly meant specifically taking something, without their knowledge, knowing it wasn't your's to take. If she had asked if you had it, would you have been truthful and been like, "Oh yeah, you left it in my car,"?

The crazy bitch art teacher in my school had cream in the fridge with her name on it. I took a sall splash for my coffee the other day. It was partly to be spiteful because her room is across from me and there is only so much yelling at small children I can hear from her in a day.

Yes, but it's always been obvious. I stole lots of coats from people but wore them in front of them. Their moms always bought them whatever they wanted and mine never did so they always had lots of coats.

I didn't know it at the time but I was getting medicine after a doctors visit when Christian was about three months old. His infant seat was in the cart. When I lifted the seat to put in the car there was a box of saline drops that slid under his seat. I had a sick baby so I wasn't about to go back inside to pay for something that was $3.
I stole a bottle of wine from Safeway when I was 19. Went home to make fried chicken and set my kitchen on fire. I was immediately convinced it was Karma and never stole again.
I did have one of the firefighters open the bottle for me since I couldn't find an opener, though.
I said no but I guess I did steal my friend's jacket in high school, she left it in my car and never asked for it back. I even wore it in front of her and she never noticed or said anything. She wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.
No, but I still remember this chic in HS stole a pair of my jeans. She had spent the night at my house and took them when she left. I didn't see her take them but I know she did. I loved those jeans.
In college, a friend and I visited friends at another school. We got wasted and stole and orange traffic cone off a truck and a giant potted plant. We brought them to our friends as a gift. They were NOT amused. A year later, my roomies and I threw a huge party. Me and 3 other people were up at like 3am and sitting on the porch. We decided to walk across the street to the house of some strange guys and stole the couch off their porch....and moved it up 3 flights of stairs and onto our balcony. It faced their front porch. We returned it the next morning. My other roomates....NOT amused.
I sense a theme here. AND, I'm sure there are more stories there somewhere.
