What are you training for? Date? A trail marathon on August 3, a regular marathon on September 28
Training plan for the week: Plan? Yesterday morning I ran 5 fastish miles because that's what I had time for. This morning I ran 7.5 because I snoozed less (apparently a lot less). Tomorrow I will run whatever I have time for. Thursday I will be too tired because I have a meeting until 10PM on Wednesday night. Friday morning my run length will again be determined by my snooze button and my propensity to do "just one more snooze". Saturday, 14 miles - blargh - I feel sick just thinking about Gu - see other post. Sunday I will either do a shakeout run or, more likely, a bike ride.
Any problems, injuries, or vents? Lack of motivation. A love affair with my snooze button. An H who schedules 5AM meetings, thus making it impossible for me to run outside in the morning. Seriously, does he think his job is more important than my running schedule? Pffft.
Highlights from last week to share? My blisters are all healed up! I managed to suck it up and do all of my (loosely scheduled) runs even though I had to do many of them on the treadmill.

What are you training for? Date? 5150 Galveston, September 22nd is the big goal (my first oly.) In the mean time, a 5K in July and a sprint tri in August.
Training plan for the week: I've turned my training over to my husband and so we're trying some new things. Aiming for 2 hours or run/walking, 3 hours of cycling, 1 hour of swimming and 1 strength training session Any problems, injuries, or vents? My arch hurt on yesterday's run, but everything hurt because it was 93*. It didn't last once I got done running though, which is good. Highlights from last week to share? I ran my first straight mile with no walking since December, hooray!

Highlights from last week to share? pretty steady with my weight training.
I decided not to sign up for my 10k this w/e, so I have nothing on the schedule! Eyeing up some 5k's, Western Maryland Half Marathon (Sept), and Freedom's Run Marathon (Oct, running with DH)
My plan for the next month is to aim for 30 mpw, and a double digit long run. I'm excited to get more focused again once things settle down on the homefront, whenever that will be. We close in a week, move in 2, and then once we settle in are headed to FL for two weeks in July. That will provide for nice running conditions, right. Haha.
What are you training for? Date? A 5K on 6/22, possibly a trail 10K on 7/4
Training plan for the week: Run 5-6 tonight, tennis tomorrow, 5K on the treadmill on Friday and the weekend is up in the air. I am going on a girl's weekend, so depending on how much I drink not sure if I will be up to run Sat or Sun. I may pack running clothes just in case I am feeling good and do something stupid like wake up at 7am.
Any problems, injuries, or vents? No.....I am sort of feeling burned out on running, so between that and the up in the air of TTC, I am backing off of my mileage and trying to do more cross training, tennis, biking, weights. I am tentatively hoping to run the Chicago half in either June 2014 or Sept 2014, depending. But until then, I am sticking with the 5K/10K distances.
Highlights from last week to share? Not really. My trail run was a bitch, but all in all, it was kind of fun! In retrospect of course.
