Can you make smoothies in a food processor?

We don't have a dairy blender, but I want to start making smoothies for me and J. We do have a dairy food processor though. Would that work?

I have made smoothies in my food processor with okay results. If you're using ice, it won't get the ice as fine as a blender will.
