My son will be 2 in September- he was a big baby and I gained about 45 pounds while pregnant. I was all belly (at 5'1" there was nowhere else to go! Lol). I lost the weight within 6 months, and now weigh a little less than I did pre pregnancy.
I run and workout regularly (I did my first half right after his first birthday) but my stomach is still squishy. I can feel my abs, but they're just under all this doughy skin that I can't seem to get rid of! What do I do about this?
Is there anything I can do? When I tighten my abs it looks like all my extra skin is just hanging down. But the thing that really bothers me is that my core just doesn't feel strong anymore- I can still put two fingers between my ab muscles for crying out loud.
Heavy lifting. It's not like crunches where you're directly working those muscles, but in order to squat and deadlift, you better believe you're strengthening your core.
