I lost my favorite sunglasses ever last fall in the middle of mommy brain madness and I've been using some substitutes since. I want to get another pair that I love. They no longer make the model that was my favorite ever (Dior 60s). These are my old glasses:
I found a new pair that I really like, but they're different and I want to make sure I'm not crazy. I like that they're simple from the front, and different from the side. I love the contrast of heavy front with light/metallic sides. What do my fellow fashionable probies think?? Here are the new ones (Dior Soie 2):
@tambcat TrudyCampbell I can't figure out how to tag dahli!

I like the shape. The metal acetate combo trend will continue for 2014 though I don't know if you would wear there them for years and years like you might a similar frame front with acetate temples. Something to consider for the price.

Ugh, so true! I loved my plain but beautiful 60s and I'm heartbroken I can't just get another pair of those. It's hard to find plain, thick, square combo though.

Nevermind the Oliver People's suggestion. The modified cat eye frames and modified way farers are so dominant right now. I need to check my closet later. I have a new in box pair of chunky black Dita frames from an industry friend that I've been meaning to resell. I can't remember if they are square.
I like them a lot so I say get them but then I am crazy for sunglasses and wear mine forever. I have been telling myself since last year that I don't need the pair of Tom Ford I love since they are an investment but my willpower is starting to fail me now that summer is near.
