I'm so sorry, Chels. I remember after my grandfather's stroke, he just was so helpless and it made me really sad. I just wanted him to be back the way he was, or to go in peace. The thought of him suffering or struggling was extremely painful.
You don't have to be strong. You can cry and feel sad and torture baby Layne with as many hugs and kisses as you need right now. This is a really difficult time and getting through it isn't easy.

I'm so sorry. It is really hard watching grandparents go through something like this and how utterly heartbreaking it is and I feel for you. I'm facing early stages of this with my great-grandma, and even living close to her I feel like I'm not doing enough. Nothing is ever enough so try not to let being far weigh on you (easier said than done).
