I have the Beaba Babycook and I really like it. It's pretty easy to just throw whatever you want to cook in there, steam it, then puree it. The all-in-one factor is the best part of it, and it doesn't make a lot of dirty dishes.
My complaint is that it doesn't have a large capacity, so if you're making large batches a regular food processor might be better. I don't know of a regular food processor that steams though, but you can just steam stuff in the microwave. Hope that helps!
I always used a regular food processor since I generally did large batches to freeze in ice cube trays. Steaming fruits and veggies in a pot or the microwave didn't really make much mess to clean up. If you're planning to just do a meal or two's worth at a time, a baby food maker might be worth it though.
