In Pa Dutch, it is Bot Boi. Here's a good link: getawaylancaster.com/2012/09/05/pa-dutch-chicken-pot-pie/ It's homemade egg noodles, chicken, potatoes. Think a few generations of chicken noodle soup on steroids. It is excellent.

No, it was white I guess. I said meant very very light brown...I was trying to think of the color to best describe it, but yes, I guess white would be the closest one. See! I'm not schooled in gravies.
