My brother got married this past weekend. It was camo-themed, to an extent, redneck to an extent, and just.. interesting. They didn't have a guest book, my brother made this bench for everyone to sign. They had 20+ hay bales lining the hallway to get into the reception room.
ETA: Please don't quote pics, I will be DDing since it wasn't my wedding.
Do you want people to talk shit about your brother's wedding? Or are you trying to show that it was a nice wedding? I'm confused.
I am not looking for either. Pictures were requested when I mentioned the "theme" of the wedding in a different post, trying to decide on what I was going to wear, so I am following through with pictures.
I want to see a picture of you wearing your dress at this wedding. Um please?
There were no photos of me taken at this wedding. Just one of the side of my head. (none that have surfaced yet, anyway. The photog might have got one of me dancing with my bro)
Were you over, under or appropriately dressed in the end?
Pretty much in the middle. Some were a lot more casual than I was, but others were more dressed up than I was. my Mom wore traditional MOG type dress, GMOB wore traditional. My dad's friend wore a camoflauge "dress shirt" but was really a flannel with jeans and a blazer, and some were just in jeans and blouses. Others were in dresses.
Also, I love the smell of hay, so I bet the reception probably smelled so nice.
That's one of the best smells. Still love it even though I'm allergic.
It looks like it was well put together. My BIL tried a similar theme and it looked like a tacky hoedown.
It was pretty much a pinterest wedding. She found a lot of what she did for it on there. The only non pinterest thing was the "name card holders" they were empty shotgun shells.

Your brothers looks much nicer than my BILs.
That pic on the farm equipment makes me think of Jake G in Brokeback Mountain. LOL
