...is sending out LinkedIn requests to eveyrone in you email address book. I have no idea how I did that...except my own lack of technology? I didn't realize it until I started getting "so and So accepted your invite" Which normally is no big deal until you realize it's:
A. Several guys you've dated (one of which did not end well, but he accepted the invite?) B. All the parents of the kids you've coached (I'm sure they don't mind, but I don't think it's professional)
and worst of all??
XH and XMIL. I haven't spoken to XMIL since the day before XH told me we were getting a divorce. She was a huge b!tch and I refused to ever have any contact with her again but HEY-let's be on Linked In together! XH? Though we're not friends by any means, and I can only imagine what is going on in his mind, I don't care too much about that one.

Yeah... my therapist sent me a request...as have several people I haven't talked to in years. I think it's a common mistake, so I wouldn't feel too badly.
That sucks! If it makes you feel any better my friend did the same thing and he had more than 5000 contacts in his address book. It went to a former boss and employees from a place where he did not leave on good terms.
All day long his phone was ringing from his older relatives asking him to explain LinkedIn. His texts were also blowing up. I proceeded to be a good friend by laughing until I cried.
