We have a Fresh Beat Band CD that both girls love (they don't really care about the show, but they love the CD). We're also into the Beatles right now. If you want adult music, look into Rockabye Baby. They do really sweet lullaby versions of adult music, like the Beatles and Pink Floyd and Green Day.
"You. You and your crazy life. You and your geographic anomaly. You and your drunken lesbianic ways and terrible navigational skills." - ProfArt and her holy baby
DD loves The Lumineers (waits for @booby to call her a bedwetter), especially Big Parade. DS likes The Avett Brothers and One Direction, lol. I think he only knows that "You Don't Know You're Beautiful" song by them or whatever it's called.
They both like Gangnam Style, but we're trying to discourage that, even though it's a little humorous to see 3 yo DD sing "heeey sessy lady." Inappropriate!
Shakira is usually a hit to dance to, too. We like Waka Waka and Loca.
I know there's more, but I can't think of them right now.

For upbeat dance stuff, I usually YouTube Junior Senior - Move your feet. They also like Matt & Kim. For something more kid centered, you should download The Terrible Twos album from Amazon. It's from a few years ago, but it was a side project band from Matt Pryor of the Get Up Kids.
We jam out to Motown classics and now we are in our summertime mix (Weezer, Jimmy Buffet, Tom Petty).
We basically just put the ipod on shuffle when we get home from work- I make dinner and DS plays with his toys. Sometimes when he likes the music he comes out and dances with me.
The kids love to sing Duran Duran while in the car with DH. I can't tell you how many times in the last two weeks my oldest boy (who's 3) came flying into the house screaming "I sing wild boys wif daddy!". I may have to surrender my seven and the ragged tiger t-shit to one of them.

DS #2 really, really likes radiohead.
As a rabid Durannie back in the day, this warms my heart.
