I think I read in one of the posts that there's a marathon check in post that someone was going to start (or have started) doing?
I started a 16 week training plan for what will be my first Half in Sept. (that I'm still too chicken to sign up for) and I was wondering if we have enough people to start a support group for the Half? Anyone else out there training for a Half?
We could do a weekly check in and help each other stay motivated? Lord knows I need it in this heat!
Cinco posts training Tuesdays, so that is a good option. Also, I'm sure that you could just post in the marathon thread if someone doesn't start a half thread.

I am just getting started with my training for my first half in September. It might actually end up being my first race, too. I was planning on running a 5 or 10k beforehand but the race I was planning on doing last month, I wasn't able to do due to health issues. I'm going to try to find something else, but we'll see. There aren't a ton of options where I live.
