I think it would be easier for me to list the things that I don't hoard. That's why it's taking so much time and effort for me to purge and prepare my household for our upcoming move.
I got rid of the walkman when I moved to Hawaii. In my defense, it had been in storage for the 4 years we were overseas.
I think I hoard kitchen stuff. I'm pretty minimalist, but I'm packing up now, and I have a lot of stuff to throw some kickass dinner parties. Not kitchen tools, though. I loathe the uni-tasker.
Apparently I thought there was going to be some sort of baking chip shortage in the last year. I have 9 bags of chocolate chips/butterscotch/cinnamon/white chocolate/you name it in my pantry.
books. old movie ticket stubs. old cards (like birthday, etc). boxes
I hoarded movie stubs for YEARS! When I got married, my mom made go through my old bedroom and either throw out or take stuff to my house. I found my stack of stubs going back to jr high. H convinved me I didnt need to keep them anymore, so I tossed them. Occasionally I wish I'd kept them.
I totally used to hoard movie stubs back in high school. I had to show off the movies I had seen!
Books. Although my collection diminished when I moved from Buffalo because I just didn't have the space to pack all mine. It makes me sad when I'm looking for a random book and realize I don't have it.
I still have a ton of mixed CD's. Ipods be damned!
I think that's it. My H doesn't really hoard stuff. We do have a random rim sitting in our laundry room, but he's not hoarding it. He's just too lazy to get rid of it.
