Who else is in tropical storm Andrea's path?
I can't go outside today, no field work. My job is extremely weather dependent. I'll be here with my laptop all day, hoping we don't lose power. Right now, I'm still in bed drinking coffee, propped up on pillows, cat snoozing beside me. At least I won't have to water anything today.
Me! It seems every time I take the day off with the intention of getting things done, it rains. I'm taking it as a sign I should try to clean the bedroom...
The rain isn't terrible here (VA) but it is steady since yesterday. Got a little powerful last night, but overall it's right on that fine line of "do I really need an umbrella to run out to the car"
It's steady here in philly and its supposed to really pick up tonight. I made sure all of my plants were in spots where they can get wet and I won't have to water them.

I'll trade you. It's a billion degrees here (ok, more like 102, but freaking STILL - it's JUNE. We're supposed to break temp records tomorrow) and I'd rather have the rain.
That said, PLEASE stay safe east coasters. Every time I hear about storms with heavy rain I get worried about people driving with flooding and such, as well as dealing with other morons on the road - seems like inclement weather always brings out the stupid people.
It has been POURING non-stop here since this morning. I was hoping for a power failure at work and early dismissal! They are saying 4"-5" of rain here.
We braved it and went out to dinner and there was road flooding everywhere but lots of people are out (restaurant was packed).
