Tonight: cookout at my sister's, then dropping the boy off at my parents' house for a sleepover.
Tomorrow: I have a group run early in the morning, and my wife is working OT all day (the main reason for the sleepover). There's a big party at the store that sponsors the group, so I may go by there before picking him up. In the evening we're going back to my parents' house for a family going away party for my sister.
Sunday: my sister leaves for her new home out of state. I try not to cry. Oh, and I'm pretty sure my wife is working OT.
Tomorrow, I don't know. Moving furniture around, since we didn't get around to it this week. Laundry. Grocery shopping.
My brother and his fiancee get in late on Saturday night, so we'll hang out with them on Sunday. I'm guessing my mom will have everyone over for brunch.

Tonight: Pizza and a drive-in movie car painting session with E. E's class is doing a drive-in movie themed day next Friday so we are making a drive-in theater "car" a la Pinterest. Starting on it tonight so the paint can dry.
Tomorrow: Hopefully finishing up the drive-in car in the morning. There is a big science expo for kids tomorrow afternoon and E chose going to that over going to our suburb's town festival (read: parade and over-priced carnival rides). I was thrilled she chose the science expo, there are a ton of hands-on exhibits listed and I'm hoping it's a blast.
Sunday: E has a birthday party at a gymnastics place at 1pm. Aside from that it will be chill time at home and prepping for the week.
Thurs: We went to Philly, did a double-decker tour of the city, went to a few of the historical places, had dinner at Max Brenners, let the kids swim past their bedtime, and we all crashed.
Today - let the kids swim again before we left the hotel and went to a diner for breakfast. Headed home since it was pouring out. Stopped at the outlet mall to return carter's crocs and have lunch. Now we are home and L is napping and the kids are playing downstairs.
Sat - L and the kids are going to get potting soil for our patio garden while I do some studying. Then we are going to see the kids' godfather's new baby. I will get to hold a 10 day old!! I wanted to walk in Pride, but L would rather poke her eyeballs out, so I don't think that is happening.
Sun - Stuff around the house: mow the yard, finish the garden, go grocery shopping, etc.
Mon - kids first day of camp. L and I are both off. I think she is going to go work at the library at the kids' school while I study and then ??.
Tonight: just got back from a "last day of school picnic".
BYO pizza & a movie tonight
Sat-- tball , then pride fest! It will be our first time going as a family, and I am interested/a little nervous to see carrot's reaction. There is a bunch of family stuff during the day, so hopefully there aren't *too many* a$$ less chaps
Sun- carrot & L are running in a. "Muddy with mommy" race. It should be fun! Hopefully I can actually get something planted. It has been so cold & rainy!!! (Today at the picnic everyone was so happy for the "nice weather" --- a high of 65.
Nothing set in stone but I'm hoping to get some weed control done in the back lot, a frame set up for a chicken coop, and some perusing and deal making of chicks at the farm supply store.
Our landlord is coming by on Sunday to look at the hole in our backyard, turns out that when the addition was built, the bathroom sewage line wasn't connected to the street so the previous owners made a 4 ft deep well-like structure in the middle of the back yard, ran the second bathrooms sewage line to it, threw a piece of plywood, dirt and grass seed over it and called it good. No wonder our yard has been sinking in the middle for the last year and a half.
Friday - wonderfully nothing. It poured all day. It was so nice to turn off all the phones and tv's and computers and hang out, just the 3 of us. N had us laughing so hard. He's really in a funny age. He is becoming more coordinated and so doing more with his body, like stomping and jumping, etc. Its amazing watching him master such everyday things, but being so proud (and looking so funny/adorable while doing them) He's at such a great age, I want him to be 19 months forever. He's talking up a storm, like 3-4 new words a day (his new favorite yesterday was 'under)', and developing his own interests and tastes.. It's so fun to be at the other end of such a huge, huge learning period.
Oh we did go to BBB and make our stroller decision and go back to Creative.Playthings one.more.time. and remeasure the playspace we are having installed for him. Our backyard abuts woods and is uneven and has random trees... it's been a $2,500 project just to get the space ready for the damn swing set. Gah. Install is Monday - hopefully it's ready!
Today - K has 2 games this morning and N and I are going shopping for a birthday present for his friend. Then to the birthday party and then K's sister, my favorite, flew in from SC for the weekend so we are going to see her. If the sun makes it's way out the the ground dries at all, we will be in the back yard, releveling the parts that, I'm sure, washed away in this monsoon.
Sunday - K has a softball game and depending on what time, N and I will either go, if it's the late game or maybe check out the Unitarian Church. After the game, K is going to want to do yard work all day. There is still quite a bit of leveling to do. N and I will take a trip to Lowes to pick out what I want to line the playspace area with, I am thinking something like the picture below. And then a bbq for K's sister on the beach!
