I sprained my eyes yesterday after I saw this on a "friend's" fb wall along with talking about how Planned Parenthood are murderers. I just can't get into the abortion debate on a Friday but I do want to comment every time someone attacks PP about all the good they do that has nothing to do with abortions. But I guess it is more important that they are murderers rather than all the lives they save doing free and low cost paps and mammograms.

Obviously if you have the nerve to be poor and a woman you probably deserve to get cancer anyway.
why is he not allowed to boycott the trip w/o being a douche? He's standing up for his beliefs. so what?
If the Ravens were going to a place which openly boycotted PP and he boycotted that... it would be ok, right?
I don't get it.
He can choose not to go, and be quiet about it, if he truly feels that strongly. He was not invited to the White House for anything remotely political. By choosing to "boycott" and call attention to it on the radio, he is not showing respect for the office of the President or his teammates.

in short...
I would love to see our world today were people just silently avoided things and kept their right vs. wrong values to themselves.

Absolutely not. I have no issue with him writing an editorial about his views on gay marriage, for example. I just think that using an invitation to the White House to celebrate your sports team's victory to further your agenda is tacky and disrespectful. And I would feel that way if I totally agreed with the person's position.

Ok - that actually seems fair imo. Thanks for explaining.
