No metal fillings. But I do have a gold cap one one of my back molars. I hate it but the dentist told me that it was more durable and no one would ever see it.
My kids are always telling me I have cavities when they see them. THAT doesn't bother me in the least... I just laugh. but it does remind me that they are visible at times and I don't like that.
But then again, I don't make it a habit to open my mouth wide enough for people to see my back teeth.
There is just something about the smell in a dentist's office that squicks me out and make me uncomfortable so going in when I don't have to is something to avoid.
I only have three small ones, but I don't like them, purely for vanity reasons. The dentist said they look fine and did not want to replace, it might cause more issues if I did. I wish I could get something put over them so you could not see the metal.
I have a few. I replaced a couple with composite fillings but that shit is expensive. It doesn't really bother me, vanity-wise. It just bothers me that I keep getting fucking cavities no matter what I do.
after I got the three I have, the dentist filled in all the rest of my molars with the composite stuff... even though I had no cavities. He said my molars never fully closed and I had deep grooves that would end up with cavities no matter what.
I've never had another one. I think I was around 10 y/o at the time.

My metal fillings are all on the top, so you can only see them if you are looking at my mouth from underneath. My fillings on the bottom are enamel colored. I have a lot of fillings. :^)

I only have one, but it's in the far back on the top row. My dentist told me that the only way you could really see it if I sang opera. Other than that you really can't see it.

I have had metal fillings in my lower teeth switched out for composite. I have one filling in an upper molar that is still metal. It is the very back tooth and there is no way anyone can see it unless they stick a mirror in my mouth.
Yep, I do. I am having one replaced next month because this idiot (i.e. me) cracked it completely in half. Don't know how, don't know why. But I get to have an all white tooth again-hooray!
I have a few metal fillings on my molars and eventually they are going to be replaced because they contain mercury. Besides the white ones look so much better.
I have a couple. They're on the top molars so I never see them. I had some on my bottom molars that I recently had replaced. I didn't think I cared, but I'm happy with the improvement.
That being said, I HATE dental work and there's no way I would've replaced them if it wasn't necessary.
Dental work bothers me as much as a routine PAP. I don't love it, but it's really just nbd to me.
I had so many problems with my mouth when I was young. My roof is so high and narrow, I had teeth coming in over teeth. I had to get so many pulled, just to make room... and even now, I have 4 less teeth than what is normal.
and braces. holy shit. I needed braces like a man in the desert needs water. my final tooth position was unreal.
My mom couldn't afford to fix them but when she married my stepdad, it was one of the first things he did for us. ha!
