Yikes. The house is well priced, but... I wonder how their listing agent tactfully handled that. I just noticed it as I was flipping through our local listings. And the outside looked so promising!
All I can say is that this buyer is going to have some amazing B&A photos.
"Great location and amazing value for this 4 bedroom, 2 full bath ***Town*** Cape. Features include newer windows, open concept living room/dining room with hardwood floors and fireplace, spacious eat in kitchen, enclosed porch, 2-car garage, hardwoods in bedrooms and a full basement with rec space. Ready for you to make it your own...with TLC, this home will shine! All in the ******* School District."
Yikes! You know though..there a lot of houses here with crap kitchens and even worse bathrooms. And they sell like crazy simply because people don't feel bad about tearing it all apart and starting over.
It's the "Well this granite is new and fine just NMS" houses that struggle here more lately.
I don't if summer has people on a project kick or what.
It seems like a sweet little old lady house, but I can't see a little old lady picking those colors.
I can. I call that little old lady, Grandma. She turns 90 this year. She will get bored with how the house is decorated and will decide to repaint or sew or refinish. The hardware stores know her by name. Her kitchen cabinets were that shade of blue when I was a kid. Currently, they are pale grey with pewter handles. The cabinets have been about 20 colors in the last 35 years.

Actually, I think that picture makes the kitchen look very promising. It looks like a decently big space in which to put a brand new kitchen. Not all cheap older houses have that...
I own a house with a beautiful newish high end kitchen that is not really my style. The previous owner left behind the framed magazine cover on which our kitchen was featured when it was brand new in 2002, which is a nice thing to have to look at when I get frustrated at how they traded beauty (of a not-my-style variety) for functionality. Part of me kind of wishes we'd purchased a house with a kitchen like that instead.

OMG are we long lost cousins? My grandma is dead now, but this was totally her. She did it all herself, repainting her cabinets all kinds of crazy colors. The bright teal was my personal favorite.
I agree with @justdairy that I would rather buy a house with a really butt ugly kitchen and just totally redo it, then buy one with a newer kitchen that is not my style, but that I couldn't justify ripping out.
I wonder what came first...the wallpaper, countertop or the cabinet color? I'm hoping whoever owns/owned the house was hoping to change one or the other so they actually matched!!! Actually, the blue really wouldn't be too bad if it matched the countertop and wallpaper (or had paint!)
