I get my IUD replaced! It really is 1.5 years early, but it has launched itself really high up and I went from no period to spotting each month, which is quite annoying for me. The doctor said I could either take progesterone pills or we could replace it, but I am nervous now! The first time hurt, I broke into a sweat and then fainted. Today, she is going to have to fish for it, since the strings are missing. I hope it's easy and she can find it with no trouble!
Good luck Latte! I have had spotting for a few months and I wonder if I have the same issue. Hmm...eh, I will wait until my yearly exam to ask.
I also passed out!
My doctor said that it "should" still have medication, but obviously some lining is building up, which is why she would prescribe the progesterone. I am sorry, but the fact that it "should" still have medication is not something I am willing to risk, when I can just change it out early. Better safe than pregnant!

Good luck! I would have to be knocked out for them to have to go digging. I just cannot relax when any of that is going on. I can barely make it thru a yearly and almost passed out when mine was inserted. I do fear mine will go "missing". Did you check for your strings regularly? I only did the first week.

I really hope they can find it with ease! You'll have to report back on how the 2nd insertion was compared to the first. Not to mention the removal. I'm due for a change in December.
