This came up this morning, because my neighbor had his car towed. When he called the police to find out if it was stolen or towed, he had a heck of time trying to get them to track it down because he didn't know the plate number.
I have most of them memorized. I started doing this because 1 time when I was a kid my mom needed the plate number to register at a hotel. ::shrug:: I know mine, D's, Gparents, and mom's.

I don't know the H's cars but I have mine memorized. For all my past cars I have thought of some way to remember it, my current one has "KCC" at the end so my brain recalls it as "Kansas City Chiefs". I know it's weird, but it works.
I know mine and MH's daily drivers, but not our third "fun" vehicle. We get historic plates next year anyway so I want to get it personalized (nerd alert!)

I picked sort of. I can still rattle off my Alaska license plate, and my Texas one... But I switched over when I moved again last fall, and I still haven't fully memorized this one (though I know most of it).
