Blech, today's weather is awful. What good things are going on today?
Mine:
My DD iced coffee was made just right this morning. Also, they finally ran out of the MIB cups so I didn't feel like a walking ad while carrying my coffee to work.
I am wearing a new cardigan that I got on sale at Target.
The weekend weather is looking good and I am going to take my dog to the beach!
We are patiently waiting for our new dryer to arrive. We found a beautiful one that will beat the pants of the ancient thing we inherited with this house.
I *might* be able to finish a really cool sweater I'm making for DD today.
I don't have to water the garden, which is growing like gangbusters. We have onions, potatoes, arugula, zucchini, peas, beans, and raspberries in the yard as we speak
Not having to water the garden is a great plus to this weather! I'm hoping it helps our lawn, too. Sounds like you have some great stuff growing. I am impatiently looking forward to harvesting our first tomato.

Today's my birthday - 37 (in a row, for you Kevin Smith fans, heh). I'm stuck working late, but we'll do a nice dinner on Saturday night, when I'm less exhausted from work. I don't have it posted on Facebook, but my brother outed me, so I've been getting really sweet messages all morning from people who would never have known otherwise. Also, the really good news is that the faculty chair forgot, which means he hasn't made an announcement and embarrassed me, heh.
I have my last of the 8th grade graduations tonight. I can't wait for it to be over and for the next few weeks since I am off. Tomorrow is my last day in the school building til July!

Have fun in NY, Rock! And we're going to Il Capriccio for dinner on Saturday, since it's local and I've wanted to try it for a while. Thanks for the birfday wishes everyone!

Yep, we went to La Campagna for my husband's birthday. And I LOVE Fiorellas. I used to go there all the time when I lived in Newton. There's an express that delivers to my house, and we get food from there fairly often.

They've got some pasta dishes and sandwiches, too, but we almost always just get pizza from them. I only know about Biagio's because the Sopranos-wannabes used to be on the Phantom Gourmet all the time. They made my husband not want to go there.
But DS took a long nap and I managed to sneak in two episodes of Downton Abbey season 2.
I pink puffy heart Downton Abbey. And I'm kind of jealous that you get to watch it for the first time, because oh my goodness, are you in for it this season!

Happy belated birthday, 5k!
I have three more days of work before summer vacation. Can't wait! Enjoy your last 8th grade graduation and your break, Rikki.
I always mix up Il Capriccio and La Campagna. I think I've been to Il Capriccio and I liked it. Wasn't a big fan of Biagio-- it was OK, but not great. Ristorante Vecchia Roma in Nonantum is pretty good, too, and close to Waltham.

Happy belated BDay 5k! I was at work in CT yesterday but am home today (I WFH in MA and have to go to CT a couple of times per month). I am exhausted but glad to be back.

Yay!! I was nervous that I wasn't going to like Season 2 as much as 1. I've watched the first 4 episodes of Season 2, though.
I love it so much. I want to live at Downton Abbey. I'll travel there in Dr Who's time machine.

I want the Crawley girls wardrobe. Season 2 is fairly uneven, I confess, and there are some super frustrating parts. But it's worth it to get to the Christmas episode.
