I was inspired by Hark's air-dry beachy waves... so I tried it today and my hair is super frizzy. After I got out of the shower I ran Moroccan oil through my hair, and when it was dry, I used some styling wax to help tame it, but it's still super frizzy. The waves look decent, but I feel like a frizzball. Are there any beachy-wave products out there worth trying? FWIW, I have thick hair a bit past my shoulders.
Yup! I've used the Fekkai one! It smells amazing!! If I remember correctly, it also has some sun protection in it.
I do still have to use some sort of serum or something to cut the frizz though, but my hair is naturally curly/frizzy. I definitely can't really just let it air dry unless I have product in it and at least scrunch it a little. Otherwise it looks like crap, haha.
The Fekkai spray just gives it a little extra texture so it holds the wave. I usually put de-frizzing stuff on my hair before, followed by the spray in order to finish it off.
mine is fine and naturally frizzy/wavy. I use Paul Mitchell Thicken Up (which surprisingly does not make my hair feel thicker, but it is a styling liquid) for frizz control and to define my waves and Aquage Sea Salt Texturizing Spray to help the top layers hold the wave.

I use B&B, but there's a way to make it really cheap. I'll get you the recipe tonight. I use that and cottonseed cream curling stuff from The Body Shop with it.

I have the B&B also but it's basically salt water, which can be very drying for the hair, which defeats *my* purpose of air drying... (making hair healthier!)
I live in San Diego though and we don't have much humidity. I am not sure i could air dry in Ft Lauderdale where I'm from!
