Wear sneakers every damn day. I would normally wear flip flops (to and from work, not at work), but sneakers are safer for my stupid ankle. I didn't even own a pair of sneakers until last year I hate them so much.

I guess I had never thought about doing homemade dog food consistently until we started trying it out. Now that we've seen noticeable benefits and health improvements from doing it, it's just part of our weekly routine now so it's not nearly the hassle that I originally thought it would be.
And when I lived alone and didn't have dogs, I swore when I had them I wouldn't let them up on the furniture. Although we try to minimize the frequency and don't really encourage them to get up on the couches, they are sometimes allowed on the furniture and it doesn't bother me as much since we vaccuum so often. They are seriously too big to be acting like lap dogs, but they are so cute when trying that now I don't always stop them from jumping up and trying to snuggle.
Workout so much! I never worked out until I was about 23 or so.
Pretty much this. I played sports as a kid, but after I went to college until I was about 29, I let the exersize go by the wayside. Now working out is my main hobby.
Related to that, I definitely never thought I'd be able to run a marathon, let alone actually enjoy it and want to do it again!
