Seriously. So sick of the rain. I want to be complaining that I'm too hot. Not that it's too rainy.
vtdiamond - I went to the sox game last night. Traffic was terrible. When we got down to the park it was even more terrible. People were trying to get in as the first game was getting out. There were just mobs of people standing everywhere with nowhere to go.

My office is 2 blocks from Fenway so this is a typical occurrence. However, the double headers really suck, especially when the first game gets out right during rush hour. But yeah, the rain added in did not make it a pleasant walk to the T combined with a ton of wet, confused, drunk fans!
Yup, I got rained on again during my commute last night. Soggy shoes two days in a row. I am very much looking forward to a sunny weekend.
I also remember that spring a few years ago where it did nothing but rain. It was so depressing.
I really hope my garden is loving this rain and not drowning in it. I want tomatoes! My rain barrel is overflowing at this point but the soil has no use for its water yet. Maybe in a few days I can empty it a bit. At least the lawn is happy.
My plants are seriously hurting after all of this rain. So many yellow wilted leaves. I guess i better work on the drainage situation in my flower beds next year.
I did get this cool picture after the rain storm on Monday. This leaf was stuck to my car window. Although, I did completely miss the double rainbow. Attachment Deleted
I'm sure anyone who saw me taking that picture had a good laugh. I was sitting in my drivers seat leaning over the passenger seat with my body tilted trying to get the leaf straight in my picture.

Commuting in this stuff is the worst, and it puts me in a crappy mood. Grrrrr!
Seems like you've said the magic word at last ... I scoured my deck and deck furniture TWO WEEKS AGO, and now I'm waiting for 4 or 5 dry days in a row so I can stain & seal the deck. Now it looks like it won't be happening until NEXT weekend, since we're off to visit my MIL and look at colleges for a few days. I want my deck done, dammit!
