I am looking into going primal. When I lost my most weight (down 75lbs so far) and felt the best was when I was mostly primal (plus dairy) by accident.
Besides Mark's Daily Apple, have any blog recommendations?
Robb Wolf, Balanced Bites, PaleOMG, Health Bent, Clothes Make the Girl, Nom Nom Paleo, Whole9, Cavegirl Eats, Stupid Easy Paleo, Paleo Parents, The Paleo Mom, Primal Kitchen, Paleoista (even though I think she's a condescending bitch face), Everyday Paleo
I'll add more as I think of them Is that enough? LOL
For recipes, PaleOMG is my absolute fav. I have never cooked anything bad from her website. For information, I'm all about Robb Wolf's blog, book, and podcast.
I know it can be hit or miss but try Pinterest too. You eat with your eyes first and seeing some of these pictures will make you feel like you are being totally decadent instead of giving something up
'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather, to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, screaming 'Woohoo! What a ride!' So every day is a holiday and every meal a feast."

I am not too concerned with giving up too much... the cravings will suck, but they suck with all "diets".. junk is so addictive!
It's more or less trying to figure out what is OK and what isn't. I know it will be a lot of googling until I have more knowledge. For instance, wasn't sure if hummus is OK.

Feel free to post or PM me with questions. I've been living this way for a year and a half.
Just FYI - I find that some of the recipes on Everyday Paleo can be a little bland so I always add more onions and/or garlic. She has some good recipes on there, but some just need to be jazzed up.
