Is anyone working today? The roads and trains were empty coming in to work today so looks like lots of people took a long weekend!
What are you all up to this weekend?
Between tonight and Saturday - I would like to get a mani/pedi, do a Target run, maybe hit the Burlington mall to look for a dress, and then start packing for my sorority conference (I leave Wednesday morning).
Sunday - We are going down to Newport for the day to meet up with my parents. My mom and I are going to the Newport flower show which is held at one of the mansions (Rosecliff). DH and my dad are going to hang out in town and then we'll meet up for lunch.

Yeah, it took me less than 20 minutes to drive to work this morning, which is rare at that hour. The roads were clear.
Today, round 1 of the summer program wraps up, woohoo! I'm out at 2, then we have to take Jack to the vet.
Tomorrow, I've got cleaning/laundry/etc to catch up on, and then we're (finally!) going for my belated birthday dinner at Craigie.
Sunday, I'm driving out to western MA to see family.
Next week, I get to flex,(the only time until almost August), so I'm home on Monday. My husband was supposed to start his temp job, but we're not sure if that's going to happen. So it's either quiet day at home alone (YAY!), or I dunno. And Monday night one of my BFFs from high school is coming over, and we're going out to dinner. I haven't seen her since my wedding, so it'll be great to catch up.
The flower show sounds amazing, Rock! Must put on the calendar for next year
Today is pretty chill, DD and I will likely hang out in her pool or the sprinkler most of the afternoon Tomorrow I'm taking her to every park I can think of while DH works on his gear. His big medieval event is in a few weeks Sunday is more of the same
I bet schools are getting out too, and for some reason the traffic is always better once that happens!
I'm working! I just met with our CEO to discuss why I'm leaving. He was very nice, but I felt terrible telling him the issues I see. He took it well though (I was very generic) and he said he knew about most of the issues. He said he is working to change the culture, but I have no idea how you do that.
He said to stay in touch with the company and maybe our paths would cross again. I'm glad it seems like I"m not burning bridges and if I wanted to come back to work here some day, they'd be open to it. He said he's heard nothing but good things about me.
Okay, 1 more week to go!
This weekend we are going to an awesome wedding. It is local, but we are staying in the hotel so we can party, dance and drink! I'm SO excited! And it is going to be beautiful weather!
The rest of the weekend will be vegging and soaking up sun.
I have today off :-D One of DH's friends is visiting tonight and tomorrow (which means I have to CLEAN this messy house today. bleh!). Saturday is white water kayaking up at the Winne. I'll probably do the super easy section with them, then let them the boys take on the Class 3/4 by themselves. BBQ at the park afterwards. Sunday we might have some people over for a BBQ in the afternoon since it's so nice out!
Not too much planned here! We were supposed to be in Chicago and Minneapolis this weekend, but after my appointment this week I was told that I could no longer fly. I was really looking forward to seeing my friends and family and going to J's grandma's 89th birthday party. Oh well!
The only thing I really want to do this weekend is get my car detailed so that I can install the carseat. I figure I might as well start with the cleanest possible base.
The flower show sounds great, vtdiamond. I love stuff like that!
I am currently Googling places to go for Thanksgiving. Right now it looks like Costa Rica is in the lead. Bonus points because business class tickets are only $150 more than coach. I just can't get myself to pull the trigger. I want somewhere warm and beachy that we can relax with Eli, but that isn't an island. Any other suggestions?

I'm working for another little bit in the office then I'm running around to get signatures on a P&S for a house sale and running the papers to the other broker and then probably heading home. Tonight we aren't doing much probably grilling and some yard work.
Tomorrow I have an open house for another property in the morning then I'm planning on lounging by the pool all day. Hopefully DH will go grocery shopping in the morning while I work so we don't have to do anything else all weekend.
Sunday I have two showings for the same property in the middle of the day, then I'm planning on lounging by the pool the rest of the day.
I'm looking forward to my totally peaceful and relaxing weekend, I feel like I have been going non-stop the last two weeks since I got back from Aruba.

Finally a somewhat low key weekend!
Going clothes shopping tonight for myself and my husband. He just started a new sales job and will be in the field next week so he needs a bunch of new shirts/ties.
Saturday afternoon/night going to a friend's house for a bbq.
Sunday hoping to just play with the baby and swim in the pool.
A lot of schools had their last day today, so I assuming that's why the traffic was low. I love summer traffic.

We're just kicking around on Saturday. It'll be farmers market, errands, and park with friends. On Sunday we have brunch with H's sister's family. Then there's a craft market in the square here that I'm excited for.
Yesterday I was at an offsite meeting with a HUGE potential client with my boss. Good news is I think they are going to sign, bad news is I don't think it will be for the end of the quarter (which is next week) which really really sucks.
Today we are going to a friends cookout then tonight we are going to start getting organized for our trip. We leave for the Vineyard next weekend but this upcoming week is my EOQ so I will be at work atleast 14 hours every day and won't have time.
Sunday I am doing some outlet shopping for our trip! And Sunday night dinner with a friend who is in town from LA.
Overall a relaxing weekend hopefully before I have these last 5 days of hell at work then a blissful week on the vineyard.
