I usually use a microfiber cleaning cloth and water for light cleaning, and some sort of cleaner with oil to clean up grease/grime. Oil cuts through grease and doesn't dull the finish.
Regular cleaning - vinegar and water or some sort of all purpose spray Medium cleaning - those orange oil cleansers work well Big guns - goo gone. You can get it at HD, but it's good at getting off build up. We moved into a townhouse once and the cabinets were just so gross - we went through a lot of goo gone to get them clean, but it worked.
I don't like magic erasers because they take off the finish. maybe i scrub too hard? but theres definitely a patch on my cabs right now where i went at it with the magic eraser.

I use Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap diluted in water in a spray bottle with a microfiber scrubber. Works like a charm and makes my kitchen smell like candy canes.
Thanks. I've got nothing but time these days, so maybe a little elbow grease will occupy a good portion of my day
It'll be perfect for you.
Once when my DS was younger and in his Billy Mays Phase he decided to help me get ready for a dinner party by orange-gloing all my kitchen cabinets. I came downstairs with a tablecloth to find DS standing on the counter spraying away; he'd already done the base cabinets. I'd done them a few days prior, so they were clean but DH and I went through an entire bag of rags trying to get the stuff off the cabinets before our guests arrived. We made it with about 5 minutes t spare.
