i just finished painting some patio furniture and was like "wow, i'm really hot." then (idea)! i'm going in the pool. aaahhhh.
and tomorrow we're having people over to swim and have lunch, and everyone is like "thanks for letting us use your pool, can we bring food and beer and nonalcoholic drinks too?!?" badass.
please note that i recognize that my crowing about my awesome pool is totally obnoxious, which is why i'm doing it here semi-anonymously and not on FB. lol.
already, my ankles are less swollen. i mean, i'm freaking 5 months pg. i shouldn't have swollen ankles! it's hot, though. i guess that's the problem.
i'm so jealous. i would have loved to find a house with a pool, or space to put one in the future, but it didn't work out that way. oh well. i wish our neighborhood had one.
i can't wait to see your finished pool house. that sounds like the most amazing thing ever.
Remembering back to when you cried about pool chemicals two years ago...
We only have a PVC pool and I love it. The chemicals make me cry at least twice a summer though.
lol, the guys at the pool chemical store all know me. one of them this spring told me he was proud of me when my water sample had almost perfectly-balanced chemicals.
cereal killer, i'm SO EXCITED. we haven't started yet, but they're knocking down the shed on monday. i'm going to document the hell out of this and will one day post pictures when it's finished. presuming i haven't had the baby by then. i keep pointing out my OCTOBER due date to everyone involved in the construction process. i leave out the part about how it's october 30th so that hopefully they think they need this shit wrapped up by october 1st.

I miss our condo just for that reason alone! It was so nice to swim when I was pregnant ... nice to just float and not have to carry around that extra weight! Enjoy it!
I love my pool. It's a temporary one until we put in a deck and bigger above ground pool. Still it's heavenly floating around on hot, humid days. I may take some wine in there later. Hehe.
We have a 3,000 acre pool that doubles as an ice fishing destination in the winter! ;-)
Love! What lake are you on, if you don't mind my asking?
Also, yeah, love our pool. Worth every penny! We live out there almost year-round, and just come inside to sleep and use the bathroom, lol. (And sometimes H sleeps on this outdoor lounge bed thingy we have).
I am jealous. I am thinking it would be totally worth it for a few months out of the year. Although, a neighbor but an indoor pool in recently. I sort of wanna to become better friends with them
Our lot is small though and we are going to have to make a decision to add on or move, pretty sure there isn't room enough for both. This is also all imaginary now since we have no money for either. A girl can dream, can't she?!?!
We're klassing it up this summer. We got one of the bright blue blow up/water pressure pools that are incredibly ugly. I don't even care. It will be wonderful to pass the hot days in the water! I will admit to being a little jealous of your real pool.
I grew up with a pool and it was so wonderful. I still miss it, to this day. It always seemed like a PITA to clean, so I never thought I would want one, as a homeowner. My mind has been changing over the years.

I grew up with a pool too. My best childhood memories are from the summers spent in the pool.
We just got an above ground pool this year. We love it! And I'm so glad I can give my kids the pool filled childhood memories that I love so much.
We went swimming this afternoon! And we're going again tomorrow!
