apalettepassion.wordpress.com/ WHO IS BONQUIQUI!?!?!?!??!
"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
I have white white ginger skin that burns like whoa. I use Coppertone SPF 50. They've done studies that show there's no real benefit to anything higher then that. I'd also be careful with the sprays. In my experience they don't cover well at all.
for my face Obagi worked the best for me as far as blocking the sun, but it's hard to rub in, and it does leave a white cast
Neutragena ultra sheer did not leave a white cast, except it would get into my eyes and sting
Right now I'm using L'Oreal sublime for faces, it comes out white and runny, but it soaks in instantly so you don't have to rub hard. A little sun does get through though.
I don't like Target brand, Banana Boat, or Hawaiian tropic
I'm not as picky about what I use on my body, but I often buy Neutrogena and wear at least spf 30.
Apply liberally and often.
I wear at least spf 30 on my face every day, religiously. My CC cream has spf 40, and I use a powder that is spf 20 just to make sure I have plenty of coverage since I don't gob on the CC cream. If for some reason I don't wear the CC cream with spf, then I use the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer. It works well under makeup.
Oh, I forgot that I also just started using a Paula's Choice moisturizer daily that has SPF 30. It's called Hydralight and is for oily and combination skin, and it has antioxidants which help prevent premature aging from the sun.
Blue Lizard. Higher titanium dioxide and zinc oxide than a bunch of the other brands.
I burn badly to start, get sun allergy, am now on a bunch of meds that make me even more sensitive to sunlight. I used BL before, but it is also the one my oncologist likes.
We use blue lizard too. My only issue with it is that it is super super thick WHICH is good for protection, but somewhat difficult to apply IMO.

Yes, it's like paste. I had to stop using it on W because I was tired of scrubbing it out of his hair. Most "kid" sunscreens are thick and white.
