ElizabethBennet, g&t sounds good! I tried them because of ml and fell in love.
We did! We took her to our favorite pizza spot (where we had our first date) and had a present for her. We wrapped it up in fancy paper and she got to open it. It was a big sister t-shirt. We told her about the babies, and she sat and stared for a really long time. We couldn't tell what she was thinking, and then all of a sudden she looked across the table and said, "mama, can I come sit by you?" She came over and put her head down by my belly and said, "I want to hug the babies. These are my babies." She has been SO adorable! It has been really fun to watch her excitement, because it is so child-like and not at all tempered by the fear that we have. It has brought great levity and joy to our "holy crap, what are we going to do with TWO babies?!" state of mind.

ETA: pinkplasticdoll, we moved to Atlanta. We're both from here, so we kind of came home. I love(d) the bay area, but there are a lot more opportunities and support here. Looks like we will start TTC in about 4 months instead of 2 years.
Gin and tonics are my go to drinks. I love them lol. And yay for TTC!
