Blake is definitely teething in full force. My happy baby has been sad and miserable lately.
I know they say diarrhea is a symptom, but could constipation be too? He has strained really hard to poop for the past couple of times and currently hasn't gone in 5 days. I'm hoping this is something that will pass with teething and isn't his new normal. Did anyone's kid get stopped up while teething?
Also, did your kids run a fever or is that a crock of crap? How soon between the fever and the actual tooth if they did? I have taken his temp twice today (hoping for a poop) and he is hanging at 99.5, which is high for him but not scary high.
A sometimes gets a fever and doesn't usually have bowel changes. I do know that I have written down that she started having her first teething-like symptoms in July of last year, but she didn't get her first actual tooth until the end of September. It takes a long time for those suckers to make their way up and through. Though, I know there were some LOs who got teeth sooner. Hope he starts to feel better.
She has had several fevers from teething, sometimes very high (once it was over 104 but she wasn't sick in any other way they could tell). Usually she has maybe two REALLY fussy days where her sleep is terrible, then it might pop through.
Never bowel changes that I could relate to it.
Also, I did think she was teething for many months before I saw a tooth. I think starting at about 4 months I was convinced she was teething on and off and she got her first tooth at nine months!
Poor guy! I hope he feel better soon. A just got her first tooth within the last month. I thought she was teething since she was about 3 months old though, woops. But she hasn't had any bowel changes.

Evan started teething around 4 months and his first tooth didn't show until the day he turned 6 months Hope Blake feels better. Evan would go through days of not pooping (especially if we are out all day- he only seemed to want to poop at home). The one thing that always helped was sticking him in his jumperoo. Always prepare for a blowout. I tried to wait until Daddy was home when it resorted to that.
V had some runny poop and her tush got a little irritated from it. That is because of all of the excess drool. I always can tell when she has a tooth getting close to coming through because her drooling gets out of control! She had some low grade fevers a couple of times.
I'd try letting Blake chew on frozen washcloths and offer tylenol if you think he's in a lot of discomfort. We have an amber teething necklace too, but Violet pulls on it so much these I rarely put it on her anymore.
Luke started teething around 3 months and his first tooth broke through (2 actually at once) on his 5month birthday. Since it started so early, we've basically been teething his whole life. He just had lots of drool but the fussiness and fevers i never was able to correlate to the teething since he's always teething a little.

I might add... I always thought DD was teething because at age 3-4 months is when the crazy drool really starts and they discover their hands and they love to gnaw on them.
I was 150% certian DD was teething. Yea, she didnt pop her first tooth until 10 months.
DD's first tooth cut through at 4 months. She was so sad and miserable too- it's the worst! I gave her medication at night in really terrible days, though her fever (like Blake's) never got very high). As far as his constipation goes, I'd put a call in to his pedi and see if he would recommend giving him some diluted prune juice. Good luck mama!

Fevers here with some loose poops. Also, lots and lots of drool. She started being very drooly around 4-5 months, but didn't get her first tooth until 7 months. It takes awhile.
