July is going to be my month. It has to be. I need to lose weight, not just for vanity sake (I am unhappy with the way I look) but I just had bloodwork come back that says I need to lose weight (high triglycerides, fatty liver, pre-diabetic).
I'm rejoining weight watchers and actually going to stick with it this time. I need to.
A friend of mine started a dietbet starting July 4 (weigh in July 2-3) with a buy-in of $10 to lose 4% in 4 weeks. If you are interested in joining us here's the link: diet.bt/16t82mQ
Good for you girl! I've been doing WW since mid April and I am down 16 pounds from my pre Blake weight (I still have a ways to go). It is seriously the only way that I have ever been able to lose weight in a healthy manner.
Way to go! I'm still doing ww and I've lost 49lbs with it! I'm down 73 from my baby weight and I'm 33lbs lighter than my pre-baby weight. It works!
WOW dojo I'm so proud of you. such an inspiration. I'm going to start in July but i am going to be in touch with you. I need all the tips! I've been successful at WW in the past and been lifetime for awhile but since i stopped pumping I cant stop gaining weight.
this is my first time but a bunch of my friends have been doing them. you join a group of people online and bet in a certain amount (this is for $10 but most are $25-100). You bet that you can lose 4% in 4 weeks. If you do, you split the pot with everyone else who does. If not, you are out your bet.

careyalis & dojo - you are both awesome! I had been on WW back last year was down 8 lbs from my pre-baby weight with DS 2 and almost to my pre-baby weight from DS1 and gave up then gained back a ton between weaning, work stress, and a kitchen reno.
I just started back a couple weeks ago and I'm down 3 lbs so far.
I'd like to join, but I'll be traveling from this Friday until July 10th, so I won't have a consistent scale. 4% is about how much I've puffed up recently.

they are really picky about the weigh ins (they should be since they are taking people's money) there is only a 2 day window in the beginning and end and you have to submit a picture of your scale with a "code word" next to it.
