I know that McDonalds puts mustard on cheeseburgers in some areas. Certainly not in the NY Metro area because mustard on a McD burger is fucking strange and nasty. I can remember traveling as a child and feeling OUTRAGED at the presence of mustard. Get that shit OFF.
#1 Where do you live? #2 Is there mustard on your McD cheeseburger?
NY metro is the only place I have ever heard does no mustard. And it's on BK burgers too. This is why I never get fast food cheeseburgers at BK in ny. Who want just ketchup? Yuck!
I live on the boarder of what is considered the NY metro area. I am pretty sure that Fairfield county CT does not (closest to NY and considered in the NY market). Cross the line into New Haven county, and I am pretty sure they do.
1. NYC 2. No clue, but they should because mustard is delicious.
I think the only time I've ordered a McD's burger in my adult life was two days before I POAS with Carter. That was my first sign that something was up.
Also, what pisses me off about this is that they show mustard in the picture and don't tell you so the first time I ever ordered a burger in NY I took a big bite of yuck! The next time I asked for mustard on it and they just gave me packets. They don't even have mustard in the kitchen!!
The NY metro area is the only place in the country that is mustard free. You can't even get regular mustard in most fast food restaurants. The rest of the country is just wrong.

It is so bizarre that you posted this because MH loves McDonald's cheeseburgers but hates mustard. So every time I go, I have to ask for no mustard. The one place snottily says, "We don't put mustard on them." The other one has to take it off. So I don't think it's regional. These McD's are 10 minutes apart.

It's so weird. Who decides if they're a mustard serving McDonald's!?
