It is so bizarre that you posted this because MH loves McDonald's cheeseburgers but hates mustard. So every time I go, I have to ask for no mustard. The one place snottily says, "We don't put mustard on them." The other one has to take it off. So I don't think it's regional. These McD's are 10 minutes apart.
It's so weird. Who decides if they're a mustard serving McDonald's!?
Whoever own the franchise I'm sure. It's just weird that McDonald's and BK allow it, but they do tend to have regional sanwhiches too so I guess they allow some differences.
MI and yes they have mustard!! I can't believe you guys don't put mustard on your burgers. The worst is when they put mayo on them, ew. They're always doing that at Wendy's.
I know that McDonalds puts mustard on cheeseburgers in some areas. Certainly not in the NY Metro area because mustard on a McD burger is fucking strange and nasty. I can remember traveling as a child and feeling OUTRAGED at the presence of mustard. Get that shit OFF.
#1 Where do you live? #2 Is there mustard on your McD cheeseburger?
1. Germany 2. I don't think so? We get H cheeseburgers when we go to McD's and I think she would have a shitfit if there were mustard on her burger.

Here's the crazy shit we have going on in the German McDonald's right now:

Even though there are about a million other places to get a burger, I get a craving for a McDonald's cheeseburger a couple of times a year. Mmmmm, preservatives.

For me, it's the texture of the teeny, tiny chopped up onions.
Here in Ontario they for sure have mustard on them.
Fun fact #1: if you get a big glob on McD's mustard on your black apron and don't wipe it off, it bleaches that spot a little. Fun fact #2: those teeny tiny onions are reconstituted, aka, they arrive at the store dried and they're soaked in warm water to plump them back up!
