being a grandmother can be just as hard sometimes

the grandbaby was here last weekend, she is 3 1/2, I swear I looked away for a millisecond and she was gone.  The dog was gone too.  I started calling her, searched the entire main floor, searched upstairs, downstairs, in the garage, in the yard, came back inside to look again, looked back outside.  I hear her yelling for me from the cul de sac (we have a fairly long driveway that goes up hill), she and the dog are moseying down the driveway.

so even with LOTS of experience raising kids, they can and do get away from you pretty easily.

it is pretty bad that I have 6 kids and the only one I managed to lose is my grandchild!
