How does one not correct another's grammar?

I'm finding it really hard to bite my tongue and ignore it. I'm sorry but I just don't understand how someone got past third grade not knowing the difference between to and too.

I actually did leave out an "o" in one of my posts yesterday that was supposed to be for a "too" and edited to change it. I don't always catch the typos or have time to fix them but I do what I can.

For some reason when typing "the" I have the tendency to unintentionally add a Y out of habit, so I already know my most common error is probably putting "they" when it should just be "the". I know the difference between the two words and their proper usages, but it doesn't stop my fingers from making mistakes when I type to fast. **shrugs**

For things like that, I tell myself it's a typo, not actually lack of knowledge, unless I see it a lot from the same person.
