raynes , it's cold brew concentrate + skim milk + samoa flavored creamer. OMG, heaven!

joyhart02 , i'm sooooo glad i started doing this! But I need a bigger pitcher because it's not even lasting me a week. And, it's not as cheap as I thought because I'm paying $6lb for coffee and that's only lasting me about 4 days! I think I need to do less coffee per batch and use a stronger coffee.

WOW! You must drink a lot of coffee then. I think I am going to start making it in half batches because I find it is getting stale. I think I also want to get a glass pitcher because I think the plastic holds in stuff.

How have you been straining it?

I love it so much.

I just made my husband the Seattle Best coffee and that was pretty dang strong. Also I do 14 cups of water person pound of coffee.

That sounds tasty!

You might want to also try grinding beans fresh. You'll probably get a bit more oomph that way too!

I saw a 5 hour energy drink commercial last night, talking about how you could get the caffine of coffee plus vitamens in that little bottle. I was rolling my eyes, but coffee is an experience!! I love coffee. . . .

i don't exactly follow the pioneer woman's steps because i don't have a pitcher big enough!

@beener - i take ground coffee (Archer Farm's Donut Shop)and fill my 2qt pitcher 3/4. then the rest with cold brita water. give it a stir and put it in the fridge for 24hrs. i strain it using a fine strainer lined with a coffee filter. i get maybe half a pitcher when it's all done.
