lol, I am apparently a fan of the "s/o" threads lately.

What is your fondest/craziest memory of your TTC journey? Seeing Dorothy's FF chart gave me such nostalgia

Mine:
It was a hot July day and DH and I were heading over to a wedding up in VT along with DH and future SIL.  I was sitting in the front of the car and started to get really hot, like so FUCKING hot that I was having hot flashes and I was sticking my face right next to the blasting AC vent in an attempt to get relief, it was insane.  I think that BL/SIL thought I was acting really strange.  Then it dawned on me, I was on like day 3 or whatever of my clomid.....I had forgotten that hot flashes are a side effect, I felt so stupid.  I now dread menopause

We decided to start TTC and the first month we didn't pay attention to anything, just didn't "pull out". Then the second month I paid attention to my period date and read that days 11 - 17 post period are the best time for sexytime. SO my family was visiting then. One time we managed to get home from work and they were somehow still out so we had three minute sex then rushed downstairs to greet them.

then that weekend we were visiting friends on the cape with the whole fam and we snuck down to their basement after everyone was in bed and had sex on the floor. We told them afterwards and they were delighted that she may have been conceived there!

We were in Disney while I was fertile one month, and had to make an excuse to have our family watch Adam so we could sneak away and do the DTD in our room as my OPKs were giving me the smiley faces.

Same as most of you. We were at my parents and everytime they would be downstairs or left we would try to hurry up and do it. Laundry room, bathroom floor,etc. Not to glam. First month we were more respectable - in our real beds or on our vacation(Italy). I wasted a day on that plane though and secretly wanted to join the mile high club but would never do that.

It was summer and I wasn't working, so I was around all day. H works from home. I made him do it in the middle of the day. His phone rang more than once in the middle. I think his boss was looking for him. Oops.

I went to the gyno for my annual, and she told me i was about to ovulate so i came home on a mission. My H said, " I feel like i am under a lot of pressure here."

Mine are not really fun. But, in July '11 we had just had a failed IUI the previous cycle. I was super depressed. We went to see the last HP movie with our friends. We all drove and met up in Blacksburg (Virginia Tech) and were going to see it together for a fun weekend. The 5 of us shared a room and OF COURSE I got a +OPK on the Saturday night after we saw the movie. We all went out and got super drunk downtown and walked back to the hotel. DH and I waited until everyone fell asleep and tried to have super quiet secksy time so we could make a baby. Right as we were about to get into it, my best friend bolts out of bed to go throw up. We never managed to get anything accomplished. The next day, we hopped in the car and hurried the 2 hours home so we could get it on. OF COURSE, DH's dad calls because they were supposed to be meeting us at the house to do some yardwork. We both were like....CRAP, we NEED to have sex. So DH told his dad he needed to delay his trip by about an hour so that we could work on making him a grandkid. We got home and took care of business right away. That's how I know exactly when Ansley was conceived.

Well, drunken Napa Valley sex while on vacation and DH forgot condoms (we were going to start TTC in a couple months after I had a cycle off BC, so it ended up OK.) . We had sex once, so I know exactly when I got pregnant.

My story isn't all that interesting, but I was still believing that most women ovulate in the middle of thier cycle. When we were TTC that day landed right in the middle of DH's boys trip to ATL. So, I said we needed to DTD that morning before he left. Well apparently DH doesn't do well under pressure... womp womp

I was confident we missed it, and would have to try another month. I was wrong.

Holden was make up sex. Sadie was very much planned. I wasn't charting, but I was keeping track of my period on my phone and banging every other day during the middle two weeks of my cycle. It took about six months to conceive, and after about five months, DH was actually getting tired of banging. I know one day he actually said "Do I have to?"

We've been having lots of sex this month. Like 4 days in a row and then every other at the beginning of the month. Then I told DH I was entering my 'fertile window' and we needed to keep up with the sex. I'm not charting, but using a phone app and checking CM and stuff. I told him we HAD to have sex on Sunday because it could be THE time, we HAD to (and we hadn't done it since Friday, lol). Well, he was being an idiot, and then wouldn't have sex!! I cried and cried and told him he was the biggest jerk ever. LOL. We ended up having make-up sex last night, but I told him I would seriously be mad at him if we're not pregnant this month because HE RUINED IT!!!!!!!

Mine is similar to the visiting relatives ones: we'd been TTC for 9 months and were visiting DH's family for the week. The following week was my fertile period, and that was when I got pregnant. The next time we saw my SIL, she actually asked, "So did you conceive when you were staying with us?" I told her no, because I'm pretty sure it was a few days later, and I don't think she likes the idea of us having sex in her guest room.

I still can't believe she actually asked! If I were her, no way would I want to know.

We're another family's bathroom floor couple. The window happens when it happens! We were interrupted the first time, so we stopped, and then again the second time, but just pushed through. So classy.
