Yo TIP, I've been awake for 4 hours, because I'm jet lagged and sick, so I wake up coughing in the night and then can't go back to sleep because I think it's day time.
Hey DL, sorry to hear about your situation! If it makes you feel better, BIL had his appendix removed right before a big move, and my sister had to carry all the boxes.
The trip home was fine, but LOOOONG. We woke up in Europe at 5:30am, took a train to another train to another train, then flew to the states, had a layover, flight delay, and made it home . . . right around 5:30am the next day Europe time. So I'm still recovering!
Haha yeah my dad was like, "You can direct everyone where to put things!" Although I should be back on my feet after a week or so and walking without crutches so hopefully I will be able to help move.
Yikes 24 hours of traveling sounds exhausting. I et it was worth it though by the looks of all your awesome photos!
Oh, also on the theme of injuries, my mom was at a wedding where the bride had broken her foot or something and it was in a cast. They ended up pulling her down the aisle on some skateboard or something? It sounds hilarious, although my mom said it was "magical" and looked like she was "floating."
The trip was pretty great, and in fact I'm about to post more photos for any other fb friends lurking on here!

Sorry, I was dead asleep having this awesome dream where I was hanging out with the entire Obama family and we were having a great time. I kept asking Sasha to take pictures with me to show my friend because we love her. And FTR, it's Michelle who's more distant and aloof, while Barack is the fun one.
Thanks Malibu! It was a great trip, but I'm also glad to be back home, where I can go to the bathroom without hitting my head on the window. (the bathrooms in Europe are tiny.)
