We buy yobaby or yotoddler which are full fat. They're pretty easy to find around here! If you're looking for full fat plain then I'm not sure.
We get those too. They ARE easy to find and are the perfect little size!
That's what we bought today but those are pretty pricey for 4 little things. We will have to make a special trip to some where other than target (gasp!) to get the big tub of Stoney field full fat. We've bought it before but it's just out of the way to get it.
I think it's pretty impressive that she has been walking since 9 months! I don't think you need to have any worries at all. Sam has a 15 month appt too. I guess it's common for all the peanuts
I am glad most of the visit went well. Weight gaining vibes sent your way.
Henry has a huge head, huge, and the doc was concerend for a minute, but apparently I have a large head. I think a lot of times kids that are on the ends of the averages, it is hereditary.
PS) I am a little jealous that she can still fit in the bucket seat. There is a child at our daycare that is almost two and still fits in the bucket seat. I miss those days.
lol, the same thing happened when I was a baby. I think I've told this story before, but my mom kept having to bring me back as a nb so they could measure my head. One day my dad came with us, and the pedi was like "... oh. I see where she gets it now."
Laura, it sounds like you have a good pedi. I hope things go well at the followup.
Lol! This happened when my mom came to one of Sams earlier Nb appts. She is very petite and short and the pedi said, "ok I see I'm not concerned anymore."
Hopefully she'll start to gain soon. A is on the lower end on weight, hasn't been gaining much, and her percentage keeps dropping. BUT, she LOVES WCM. LOVEs it! She'll chug it at night, and I'll be interested to see what her weight is like in a few weeks when we go. That plus full fat yogurt (which is harder to find than I thought) is thickening her up....I think. She at least feels a lot heavier. I'll send you some weight gaining vibes.
I had a hard time finding full fat yogurt too (other than stoneyford yo toddler). Gosh now I forget what it's called, so this post is sort of pointless now, but it's Brown Cow or something, with a cow on the front.
It sounds like she's doing just fine. I like how your pedi is handling it too. Also, avocado is a great food for adding fat. Pilar love avocado. The smoothies sound yummy, I make myself one a lot of mornings and Pilar steals sips of mine.
