so i have added organic instant oatmeal to my breakfast routine and i put a few blueberries in it but it is sooo bland. what can i add to make it a little sweeter? would honey do the trick?
I use brown sugar (1tbsp) or brown sugar splenda blend. Other sweeteners that work are agave, honey, peanut butter, and a handful (I have small hands!) of dark chocolate chips.
Using almond milk is a good idea, since it's on the sweet side. I love oatmeal. I eat it all the time. Some of my favorite combo's- -chunky peanut butter and banana -raisins, dates, and some pure maple syrup -pumpkin puree, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice -walnuts and a few chocolate chips -blueberries and slivered almonds and some cardamom

My short on time morning routine - peel and dice a small apple, microwave for 1.5-2 minutes, add dry instant oatmeal, some raisins, cinnamon and milk - stir. 2 minutes in the microwave. Then 2 minutes in microwave for 2 pcs turkey bacon and I'm full for hours.
I eat my oatmeal a couple ways, my faves are: W/ dried cranberries and either walnuts/almonds/or cashews W/ vanilla almond milk, cinnamon, natural crunchy pb, and banana

My morning oatmeal has - plain oat, ground flax, chia seeds, dried goji berries, blueberries, and walnuts. I replace the blueberries with whatever is in season, I have added strawberries right now, in the winter I will do dried cranberries or sometimes frozen berries. I use enough fruit so I can avoid adding sugar.
