Oh FFS. What crazed Pinterest board did this come off of? Ha. As more and more ugly wreaths start showing up I'm more and more firmly in the camp of, "If it's not made of sticks/flowers/plants it's not meant to be a wreath."
My friend made one of these with rainbow balloons. She hangs it on their front door whenever it is someone's birthday in the house. For the kids she hangs a wooden number for their birthday too. It looked cute for a first birthday party. She said it took a TON of balloons and a lot of time.
Toddler birthday parties are allowed passes on lots of things. Day to day front door décor does not..lol.
when i saw it on pinterest a while back, i thought it would only be done by me for a little one's party, as well. no other reason for something like this. i would also tend to not do a monochromatic one, but a multi colored one with bright, vibrant colors.

Too much work for me, but the birthday party idea is cute. Plus my kids would pilfer the balloons and make random water balloon attacks near the door. I might even laugh at that if a wreath like that wouldn't have sucked 3 hours of my life away to make.
I think it is interesting. The texture makes it look like flowers or something.
FWIW, I am not a big fan of any wreaths, and don't get the year round fascination, but I like to see someone come up with something different now and then and not be afraid to have some fun with it.

that's seems like a cute idea. at the same time, I'm not sure how festive non-inflated balloons feel to me.
So all of you who say it looks like condoms, I don't get it. I've never seen one that is bubblegum pink or THAT SMALL. So, WTF are you thinking? Dog condoms??
