DD has been fevered since I got home at 10. I gave her Tylenol at 10:30 when her temp was 38.7. She got up again a half hour ago, still grumpy, same temp so I gave her a cool bath. She is so unsettled and her temp won't go down. Any tips??? Why does this always happen after my work is closed?!? Plus it's my birthday! I want to sleep!! **stomps feet**
Anyone?? DD just threw up all over our bed, but her fever is starting to come down. Any suggestions? I feel so helpless with a sick kid in the middle of the night.
Sorry- I am dealing with something similar. I hope she doesn't throw up. She is burning up, won't let me take her temp throat is sore and her stomach is "yucky" and hurts.
Sick kids do suck, especially in the middle of the night. Hope she recovers quickly!
I'm sorry. Kids suck and usually get sick at the worst times. Keep the fever down with cool rags and hopefully Tylenol if she can keep it down. Happy birthday

She hurled all over our bed at 2:00 am her fever finally came down after a second dose of Tylenol at 4:30. I'm so tired today, and she's running around not the slightest bit interested in food or drink. I'm hoping she crashes around lunch so I can give her more Tylenol and we can all have a nap. Good thing DS isn't sick too and happy to play in his crib if we nap. I hate not knowing what's up with her being sick. I didn't think just teething could give a kid a fever of 39.

UGH, sorry to hear that Nice birthday present for you We have been *knock on wood* puke free so far. DD2 has had nasty diapers so I am guessing there is a stomach bug going on, but DD1 is handling it differently.
I put cold wash rags on DD1 last night and she was burning up that I had to get them cold again after a short time. I am pretty sure we could have fried an egg on her last night she was so hot.
