I have the b ready. I loved the idea of it because we want to have our kids be about 2 years apart, but the thing is so large and clunky. It is heavy and it doesn't fold easily.
We are currently ttc, so I get the idea for a need for a double stroller. And now britax has this cool accessory where Jake could eventually stand on a platform.
but it is so big, and I am much more likely to wear a baby than put it in a stroller.
Uuuuugh. I wish we just went with the b agile from the beginning.
I love my stroller (city mini). It folds so easily. I'm hoping I can sell it and get a city select when we have a second kid. Maybe you can look into those? I don't know if they are as easy to use as the mini, but if so they'd be great.
Side note: I keep wanting to say I'm going to "trade in" my city mini - like it's a car. lol.
I really wish we got the city select instead of the britax. They are smaller than the britax
I have the b ready. I love it for places like the zoo and neighborhood walks. I use our umbrella when I go shopping and what not. I am keeping it because when we have a second I plan to get the board thing and had Ada use that. I figure all strollers that can handle 2 kids are going to be a pain.
Some babies don't like being worn so I wouldn't assume that you won't need to wear a baby. Some of my friends wanted to babywear so bad but just couldn't get their baby ok with it.
I also have a city mini and like it. Now we leave it at home and use the umbrella (First Years Ignite- cheapy) but it does fold nicely
will you get enough for it? For me it would depend on the going rate.
rjamz had a city select she hated, but I don't remember why.
I did indeed. It was just so bulky. The only thing I loved about it was the monster basket. I did like it when he was an infant though, for the bassinet. I now use a Bob Revolution, which is huge but is amazing to push. And my UppaBaby G Luxe
My BFF has twins and also had and then hated and sold her City Select in favor of a Bob Revolution Dualie. The City Select gets hard to push and turn around with the 2 seats when they get heavier.

hmm thanks for the feedback.
I am scared I won't be able to maneuver a tandem stroller due to my weakness and klutziness.
A twin mom friend of mine has the city-mini double and likes it. I think @therealmc does as well? If you already like the City-mini.
I love my City Select and I have no issue pushing it with one hand. DS is 30 lbs, DD is 20 lbs. It folds easy and it is smaller than my single travel system.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I still use it all the time even though DS is a tall 3 year old.

I love my City Select and have even had 4 kids (4 y/o, 3 y/o, 2 y/o, and 6 m/o...with 1 y/o on my back in an Ergo) on it and pushed it a couple of miles without a problem.
If you are somewhere with tight corners and small doorways, it might be a problem. The only place I have had a problem was fitting it in an urgent care or ob/gyn room with me (with two seats).

Yeah, living in the city it's hard. We have narrow doorways, tight aisles and narrow sidewalks.

My City Mini single won't fit through my front door, so I never use it.
