A federal grand jury returned a 30-count indictment Thursday against the surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect.
Tsarnaev, 19, has already been charged with use of a weapon of mass destruction and malicious destruction of property resulting in death in connection with the April 15 attack.
He and his older brother, Tamerlan, were accused of hiding pressure cookers packed with explosives in backpacks and dropping the bags near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.
Tsarnaev was captured in Watertown several days after the attack during a firefight with police in which a police officer and Tsarnaev's brother were killed.
Tsarnaev is being held at a medical prison at Fort Devens in Massachusetts.
