This might be a stupid question, but how do you know how high/low to hang something on the wall? I keep hearing it should be eye level, but my eye level at 5'7" is different than my sister's at 5'3" or my dad's at 6'1"
So any tips, pointers, or words of wisdom on how to go about hanging things?
The general rule of thumb is between 60-66 inches to the center of the piece, but if the picture is large or is above a sofa or in a dining room something where it will be viewed from a seated position, usually something around four or five inches or so above the back of the sofa or top of a buffet is good.
