How did you do this week with your work out plan? Meh. I skipped my Tuesday run bc I wasn't feeling well and today we have tree people here removing some rotting trees so I missed yoga. I only got my Thursday run in, but will try to keep the momentum going anyway.
How do your workouts change during the summer? It's easier to run after G's bedtime, though mainly due to sunlight until after 9pm. It rarely gets that hot here.
Any tips for beating the heat? Swim? Stay indoors? But looking for better suggestions
Did c25k MWF this week. I'm only finished week 2 but it feels good! Also got a few family walks in. I go to a gym to run so the heat doesn't bother me. We are just doing our family walks later in the evening to avoid the midday sun.
I did C25K twice this week, and then my back started bothering me. Now, it's still sore, but I could probably walk a bit except DH had his vasectomy today, so I can't leave him alone with Caleb until Monday.
My summer workout plan is to get up before DH goes to work and walk/run. I'll also try to beat the heat that way because it'll be around 7 a.m.
On really bad weather days (super hot or rain) I'll do extra Wii fit.
How did you do this week with your work out plan? It went well. I ran 8 miles Monday, 5 miles Tuesday, 3 miles of speedwork Wednesday, 6.25 miles today and I'm planning on 10 miles tomorrow
How do your workouts change during the summer? I run outside more and also get to fit in longer runs since my DH is off work.
Any tips for beating the heat? I just wear my fuel belt and loop back to my house to refill if needed. I try to go out earlier if I can.

How did you do this week with your work out plan? I started working out again on Wednesday and I've been doing a Rockin' Body workout each day and they're kicking my ass.

We're in winter here so I'm freezing my ass off on my morning runs. I have done 5k almost every day, trying to increase my fitness. My hands get so cold though, might have to wear gloves. It's usually in the 50s (single digits for us)

I did well, I went to two spin classes, and lifted weights twice. No running because I didnt feel like it and the weathers been weird, like one day it was 95 then the next day it's 70 and pouring rain. But maybe I will jog tomorrow
My workouts don't change much because I usually go to the gym now. In the last I've always biked/ ran all summer but I don't remember why I was able to do that since standing outside in the 95 the other day made me feel like dying,
Drink water. I am notorious for not drinking water when I should. Once I did a 10 mile run first thing in the morning and forgot water, I almost passed out. How dumb! I just hate carrying things. Also I keep forgetting my water for spin class and then I regret it when they say "take a drink"
