Still waiting for the stupid pedi office to call me back and their phones are already closed for the day so it's not looking hopeful...
Linus woke up this morning with a rash all over his arms and legs and a tiny bit on hands and feet. Nothing on face or trunk. It really itched or hurt him. I put hydrocortisone on him and got breakfast ready and within probably a 1/2 hr, 45 minutes max when I looked at it again it was totally gone in the places I put cream on!! Some places you could see a tiny difference in color still, but I looked at his other leg because I thought I confused which one had the rash. The places I didn't put the cream on were still there. So it pretty much all went away and I didn't think anything. Then when I got him up from lunch and was getting him ready for his nap I noticed there were new patches on him in totally different spots.
He played outside yesterday, but came in probably 3 hrs before bedtime and was fine. Had shorts and short sleeves so I would have definitely noticed. No new lotions, detergents, etc. He's had a bug for the past week(ish), but no high fevers really. It definitely doesn't look like the flat lacy viral rash he usually gets with a virus though even if it was that. He had a bit of a fever for a couple of days, but nothing that I would consider significant.

Pedi called and said just keep putting hydrocortisone cream on it and that it won't hurt anything. If it's from the virus it won't do anything. So I said since it's helping does that mean it's NOT from the virus and she said "well, not necessarily". oy. She just laughed at me when I asked if they take email pictures or anything to look at.
I don't recognize it but I swear there should be an app for this. That irritates me that they laughed at the suggestion of a photo.
I know!! She acted like it was the most bizarre request. IMO, if they take phone calls then it would benefit THEM to see a pic. They tell me always to call and they don't mind "screening things" before I lug the kids in 40 minutes to see them.

So annoying! My pedi gave us her email. She doesn't check constantly, but at least once a day and it's great for stuff like this. I'm sorry they laughed about it :/
