Remember, my child has only two teeth. Two. We got those in January and have had nothing since.
I've thought for a few days that maybe I saw puffiness where the top two would come.
She has a temp of 101. She's acting completely normal. I'm really stressed about the 101. I gave tylenol. Could teething be a possibility? I figure she has to get teeth at some point, right?
We're going through the same thing here and also only have two teeth. I feel like I know nothing about teething. We've got a low temp here too and I think her top gums are puffy but she won't let me get a good look. We got some crankiness today too so I gave her some Tylenol before bed. So really, I have no advice for you but it sounds like what we've got going on....whatever it is.
Thanks bean!! I'm just scared that she's getting sick but she was fine all day. We are definitely behind the rest in the while teething category this is stressful!
Hmmm, I think 101 might be a little high for teething. V had 102 at one point and the doc said that was too high for teething.
Basically, we know V is teething when she starts chewing on her fingers constantly and her drooling really picks up. Sometimes she'll get a little rashy on her tush from the extra drool poop.
If Mila is acting totally normal, I wouldn't worry too much about it yet. I think giving Tylenol was the right move!

Thanks I feel sick knowing that she has a fever. And then I feel embarrassed bc I feel FTM-ish. Ugh. She really has been completely normal.
A is hard core teething right now on a molar. The drool is immense. She won't let me near her mouth. She definitely has a bit of a fever, but I haven't checked it officially. The drool is normally my cue for teeth. And nighttime whining in bed. She always moans a little when she's teething. I usually give her some Motrin before bed to combat the temp and the pain. Hopefully M will get some over and done with so they can be spaced out a bit. It certainly sounds like it could be teeth. Hopefully not illness.
Sounds like teething to me! Laney is working on teeth 13 and 14! She has a temp up to 101 with teething. Tonight before bed was 100.3 though. I still give ibuprofen and Orajel before bed
We only have two teeth, too!! We said she was going to be the earliest teether because we've been saying it since 4 months! ...Here we are a week away from 15 months and the opposite is true! She has always had her fingers in her mouth, so it's hard to tell. She got her bottom two right after she turned 1 year and it took about 4-5 weeks for them to come all the way up. She didn't drool with them though. For the last couple days she's been chewing on her fingers (and other toys, but that's normal), and cranky too. She was warm the other day, but it was also humid that day. She grabs the back of her head, sometimes swats her face, chews her sippy... She's gotta get them at some point, other wise we'll be paying for dentures and not braces!
